WELCOME TO THE LEARNING COMMONS!

The Elgin Park Secondary Library Learning Commons is a safe, inclusive, and collaborative space where staff and students can access technology, resources and teacher-librarian support to further develop curricular objectives and personal interests.  It is also a great place to complete homework and independently explore a wide-range of materials.

Monday to Friday
​8:00 am to 3:15 pm

SERVICES & FACILITIES

  • Photocopying and Printing:
    • $0.10 per sheet (black & white)
    • $0.50 per sheet (1/2 page colour)
    • $1.00 per sheet (full page colour)
  • Seminar room
  • Quiet study space
  • Reconfigurable seating areas and whiteboard tables​​
  • Puzzles, board games, and Lego ​
  • Borrowing Privileges: 
    • 18-day loan period for most resources
    • Renewals are available (if another patron has not requested the item)
  • Technological access to: iPads, desktop computers, digital cameras, KOBO readers, cell phone and other electronic chargers. 
  • Student supply centre (pens, pencils, paper, glue  sticks etc.)​​
