Japanese internment

Web resources

Internment and Redress: The Japanese Canadian Experience
This is a teacher’s guide and a resource that was created  by the Royal BC Museum. It examines the racial discrimination and forced relocation of Japanese Canadians during World War II, highlighting how government policies were shaped by prejudice rather than national security.  The 'Historical Overview' section (pp. 20-24) has very good background information.
