Q. Can I use the seminar room?

A. Of course! Just come into the learning commons and ask anyone from the library team if the seminar room is available (or pop your head in a if no one is using it - use it). Or, you can come in and book the room in advance as long as no one else has booked it!

Q. Can I print in the learning commons?
|
A. Yes. To print in black and white, use any computer in the learning commons and print to PS01. Black and white printing is $0.10 per page. Pick up and pay at the Information Desk. If you need to print a PDF, Google Doc or in colour, come to the Info Desk and we will help you. Colour printing is $0.25 per half-page, $0.50 per full page.

Q. Do I need to ask to go into the Quiet Zone?

A. Absolutely not! Just walk right in and enjoy the peace and quiet!

Q. I don't understand citations! Can you help me?
|
A. Citations are one of our [many] specialties, so do not worry! We have an entire section of the learning commons dedicated to research tools such as APA and MLA guidelines to creating in-text citations and bibliographies (In the Research Station across from the INFO desk), you can also find resources on this website under Research Tools, or you can come in and ask Mrs. Bonn.

Q. Does the learning commons need donations?
|
A. Definitely. If you have anything that you think could be useful in our corner of the school, please let Mrs. Bonn know! Anything from old phone chargers to unwanted pairs of scissors will be greatly appreciated.

Q. Do you have any cell phone chargers?
|
A. We have iPhone (Lightning) chargers and one wireless charger available. You can either charge your phone and give us something to keep (such as a shoe or Student ID). Talk to the helpers at the Info Desk to make it happen.

Q. My homework is impossible! Is there anything that can help me?
|
A. Help is easy to find around here. We have many tools and resources to help, and even a SAIL teacher to help with online courses. Check out Student Services or come into the learning commons for even more help!

Q. Can I volunteer in the learning commons?

A. Of course! Just come in and talk with Mrs. Bonn for an exciting opportunity. More information is on our website under Volunteering.

|
A. Yes, just ask at the info desk or email Mrs.Bonn (Click the Contact Button Below)!

A. Definitely! Just go to the Books! page and click on the button.
